June Jeong

June is the Founder and CEO of eqHR Solutions, Inc. She is a Human Resources Executive with a distinguished career with effective leadership skills and proven results. She is a performance driven leader whose talents lie in strategic planning, employee engagement, dispute resolution, and mentoring and coaching aimed at strengthening the development of individuals and organizations.

June is also a subject matter expert in Human Resource Management holding executive level positions in Global Fortune 100 companies such as Hyundai Global to publically traded companies such as BBCN, the nation's largest Korean American regional bank. June's experience in overseeing hundreds of clients and thousands of employees while working closely with startups brings her wealth of knowledge to our clients and to our team.

June is a nationwide subject matter expert speaker conducting webinars in areas of improving performance management, teambuilding, prevention of sexual harassment and hiring skills to name a few.

June was appointed to the National Organization of Women Business Owner’s Board of Directors (NAWBO), Los Angeles chapter in June 2017.  In this role, June will continue NAWBO's mission to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide

June holds her MBA with a concentration in Leadership, as well as, a Human Resources Certificate. She is an active member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is currently working towards obtaining her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) license.

Robert Reifeiss

Bob is the CFO of eqHR Solutions since its inception in 2013. Relying on his twenty-five years of senior level operational experience and business savviness, Bob has worked directly with June to structure the company’s internal operations that includes accounting, customer acquisition and marketing.

Bob served nine years as a regional director for Dun & Bradstreet, with responsibility for account receivable management, customer service, quality assurance and accounting at their west coast RH Donnelley operation.

Bob was COO for National Yellow Pages for ten years, with operational responsibility for all non-sales and marketing departments. Bob has participated in multiple startups, acting in executive capacity for Professional Receivable Management, J&R Partners, a human resource consulting firm and Lone Wolf Internet Marketing Solution.

Bob holds a Juris Doctor from Western State University of Law.

Lauren Sims

Lauren Sims has nearly 15 years of Human Resources, Payroll and Project Management experience. She has a high level of expertise in: HRIS planning and implementation; payroll process design; creation and documentation of polices and procedures; and compensation plan design. In addition, she has created project plans and overseen HR integration for numerous mergers and acquisitions over her career- including three mergers in five years at her most recent company, which tripled the number of employees and added employees around the United States and internationally.

Recently she led a team of ten through a period of significant growth and change. During this time she oversaw a large scale HRIS and payroll system implementation (UltiPro), compensation plan design overhaul, implementation of self-funding for benefit plans, and numerous Human Resources and Payroll initiatives.

Lauren is well known for her efficiency, change management skills, and creative problem solving abilities. She holds her degree from Boston University.

Patricia Kim, PHR

Patty has nearly 10 years of HR experience with Human Resources, HRIS and Payroll services. She specializes in the implementation, training and maintenance of ADP products and services customized to fit the needs of each organization. She has expertise in ADP WFN, Payroll, Time & Attendance, HR, Benefits, Screening & Selection, Recruitment, Workers Compensation and Payroll Tax Services are just some of the products. She also has worked with ADP Canada for expanding offices into the Canadian market.

Patty is PHR certified and has obtained a Business/HR Management certification from UCLA Extension and a BA degree from UCI.

Patty is a compassionate and caring individual who values the good for the company and its human capital but is also a driven individual who values efficiency and efficacy in HR solutions for organizations.

Carolina Romero

Carolina has over 20 years of experience in Administration and Human Resources. Carolina has experience working in manufacturing, software training, medical management, auditing and loss control, medical DME supply distribution, retail and most recently working with clients in the medical imaging industry.

Carolina has designed and delivered team-development programs, customized for both large- and small-group presentations. She has been successful in effectively educating and delivering guidelines, regulations, and policies and procedures.

Most recently Carolina's focus has been on employee relations, compliance and development and implementation of policies & procedures.

Carolina holds her B.A. in Education with a minor English Literature. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is bilingual in Spanish.

Erin Swearingen

Erin has several years of Human Resources experience. Her expertise in project management was essential for a HRIS conversion and implementation effort for an auto finance company. Her leadership and project management skills were useful in helping to develop the Human Resources department, including refinement of policies, procedures and corporate communications.

Erin Swearingen is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with more than 15 years of experience in business continuity program management. Erin has designed and implemented business continuity programs for various mortgage companies and financial institutions. Most recently she implemented an enterprise business continuity program for a utility company. In addition to her program management, Erin also worked as a consultant providing business continuity consulting best practices, including continuity software implementation design and support to various companies, across several industries.

Erin has also developed and implemented emergency response and life safety programs at each organization she has worked with, promoting employee safety and safety education.

Susan Bock

Susan has over thirty years of experience in human resources. She specializes in total compensation and benefit planning, compliance and administration and has provided consulting to a variety of companies in a wide range of industry sectors, including distribution, government, not-for-profit, healthcare, service, and construction.

Susan was awarded the Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International

Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She has also been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute and is active in a number of professional organizations, including OCC ISCEBS, where she served as President, as well as OCCABA and SHRM.

Susan is editor and a co-author of Mandated Benefits: 2014 Compliance Guide (2013, Aspen Publishers, Inc.). She is a part-time instructor at Irvine Valley College, California, teaching Employee Benefits courses for the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (CEBS) program.

William Jefferson

William Jefferson has over 20 years of payroll and tax compliance experience. He expertise is in problem solving, process improvements, and increasing overall efficiency surrounding payroll/HRIS.

William specializes in processing, implementation, training, and maintenance of ADP products and services to be customized to meet the needs of each organization. He is an expert in ADP WFN Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Payroll Tax Service.

Prior to eqHR, William worked for ADP managing small to midsize employers. He has worked with internal and external business partners on behalf of the clients to identify root causes and develop synergy and seamless processes and procedures through issue resolution.

William is certified payroll profession (CPP) from the American Payroll Association and obtained a BA degree from California State University Sacramento. He is currently working in completing a degree in Human Resource Management at Brandman University.

Shelly Collett

Shelly is a Human Resource Professional with 20 years of experience in providing guidance and leadership to staff and senior management in both small and large organizations. Her broad experience includes developing company specific HR policies and procedures, compliance, benefits, employee relations, payroll, talent acquisition, training and management.

Prior to joining EQHR, Shelly’s professional experience was primarily in the hospitality industry where she held senior level directorships in HR. In her most recent position, as Director of Human Resources for an exclusive private golf club, Shelly organized the club’s transition and restructuring from a corporate owned business to a member owned equity club. Shelly’s strong background and management leadership provides her with the ability to step into a business and successfully assist the onsite team in achieving and maintaining their HR goals including compliance, defining and implementing training programs, recruiting, employee engagement, worker’s compensation, benefits and more.

Shelly lives for problem solving and her passion is employee relations, coaching, training and mentoring. An adventurer by nature, with a lifetime goal to travel to all the places on her bucket list, she also enjoys the challenge of venturing into any corporate terrain where there is a need for HR systems and practices.

Shelly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Professionals in Human Resources Association.

Jennifer Cadena

Jennifer has over 10 years of human resources experience working at various financial institutions and a local university. At the height of her career, she served as the Director of Human Resources for a bank and has worked in specialty areas including benefits, retirement plans, worker's compensation, recruitment, and employee relations. She also has over 5 years of experience working in an administrative capacity supporting both internal and external customers.

Jennifer actively tutors college students in writing. She earned her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management from California State University, Long Beach.

Gabriella Barrese

Ms. Gabriella Barrese joins eqHR Solutions with over five plus years in business operations with a heavy emphasis in payroll processing and human resources administration in the staffing and hospitality industry. Gabby’s expertise is in implementing and processing payroll in ADP WFN and Paychex environment. She also has a strong background working in QuickBooks for small employers. Gabby has a well round experience in working in human resources supporting employers through the life cycle of an employee (recruitment through separation of employment). With her “can do” attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service, Gabby is an outstanding addition to the eqHR team.

Gabriella holds her Human Resources Management Certification from UC Irvine Extension and is currently studying for her SPHR.
